The Concan Water Supply is an incorporated, not-for-profit utility, serving around 300 water meters in Concan. We have three water treatment plants, 5 wells, and 5 storage facilities. Our water utility is licensed by the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality and is managed by a board composed of 6 elected dedicated volunteers. The CWSC has one full time technician and a bookkeeper.

Base Rate - $25.00 for 1000 gallons Next 5000 gallons - $ 4.00 per 1000 gallons All usage over 6000 gallons - $10.00 per 1000 gallons

The demand for water is growing rapidly in Concan. Land is selling fast and construction is keeping pace. CWSC has grown 500% in the past 10 years. Although our system has the capacity to serve 4000 people, that capacity is needed 4 months a year, during the tourist season. The other 8 months of the year, the system supplies only the 100 full time residents, yet the system must be maintained to high standards year round. Our water rates are designed to maintain the system to TCEQ Standards year round while maintaining our nonprofit status.
CWSC encourages water conservation. Home Owners should maintain yards and plant life that are not dependent on our water supply. Resort owners should inform guests concerning the need for water conformation.
